OXYGEN, the currency of life™
fuel for every one of the trillions of cells in our body; and essential for growth, function and healing.
The Upper Airway: Gatekeeper of oxygen & your health
The Solutions
Oxygen is needed urgently, in real time: Our brain cells begin to die without oxygen in just 3~4 minutes. Optimizing oxygen intake is, therefore, one of our body’s highest priorities. But oxygen cannot be utilized by our cells without 2 other critical companion gasses: NO & CO2.
Nitric Oxide (NO) is primarily produced in the sinuses through nasal breathing. NO dilates the blood vessels so oxygen can be delivered to the cells. Optimal relaxed breathing allows for sufficient accumulation of CO2 in our blood. Fast or mouth breathing blows off CO2 too quickly which prevents proper accumulation of CO2 in the blood. Optimal amount of CO2 is necessary for right pH and release of oxygen. The 3 gasses must be in perfect harmony for optimal cellular function!
